I won't mention names, but a certain vendor at Big Event said LOTR might not be for the long.

Even if so, 25 profitable shows is a damn good run.

I think James will still run shows as long as he makes money. Bottom line. He does private signings all the time now but if you do shows that run as good as lotr for 25 shows and counting....I doubt you will quit unless you lose money.

I heard a rumor that this will be the last LOTR and they're trying for Hogan and/or Punk to headline...

I'll be very upset if these shows go away.

I've heard so many different rumors...it's tough to get a feel for what's legit.

I'll say this: there's clearly frustration from *a lot* of vendors. I've had a few tell me the same thing: little control who they bring in. I know someone who's dying to bring in a fairly big name but hasn't been given the greenlight unless the promoters of the con get a certain cut.

Anthony is correct to some degree....I don't even attend these wrestling shows any longer, but I have heard rumours as well through people who are somewhat connected to the show and they may wrap this up.... at least for awhile, everything comes back eventually.

This always makes me laugh. Vendors have always bitched about lotr and how they do things. If you don't like how they do things. ..DON'T VEND! Simple.

If lotr had no vendors. ...they wouldn't be profitable anyway. Vendors like to bitch and moan.

Vendors always bitch about LOTR but I've heard a few complaints about B.E. too -- mind you, I have no clue if these are valid complaints because I'm only hearing their side of the story.

As for not vending at these conventions...I think we're going to see more and more vendors disappear from these shows. I didn't hear this directly but apparently there was one or two vendors telling people that they were doing doing LOTR and/or B.E.

If this does happen. ..I'm sure it will be at wrestlecon next year in jersey...that's where they would make the most money.

Did you hear of any new vendor guests for legends at big event?

I heard a few although I don't know if the vendors would be okay with me revealing them. None of them are big names, though.

If Hogan gets booked, I'm all in. 100%. I will skip out on other shows to get him.

And yet LOTR sells out of vendor tables at every freaking con. Every big name vendor comes to LOTR to vend...complaint in hand. And they will come back next year and the year after that and the year after that. Ever been to a LOTR and find the vendor room scarce of vendors?
