If you could travel back in time....

Post by adelta13 » October 29th, 2016, 9:46 pm

If you could travel back in time and get a photo with one person, who would it be? Sports wise I would go with Babe Ruth and celebrity wise I would go with Elvis Presley..

Good choice, but why stop at the Babe? Why not go back further, like Honus Wagner! The holy grail of all sports cards belong to him (T206)! At least for me I won't need to go far to meet him, he's from Pittsburgh! LOL
I think I wud love to meet Julius Caesar! But if u had a time machine, why travel back in time? I'd rather go into the future!

Yeah John Candy is up there too. Same with Paul Newman. I just couldn't pass on Brando.

Music - Michael Jackson
Film - Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick, Marlon Brando... couldn't pick one.

VERY tough to pick one. I'll try one from different sectors

Music: Can't get much more iconic than Elvis Presley. Screw MJ

Wrestling: This is automatic, The Macho Man Randy Savage

Director: The man who is single highhandedly responsible for movies as we know them today, DW Griffith

Sports: Max Schmeling

Actor: Probably the toughest to choose one from. Charlton Heston, Marlon Brando, Superman suited Christopher Reeves

Political leaders: I'll have AJLe take a guess

Another epic photo op to get that doesn't fit any of these categories would be Jesus Christ

Easy ones include late 60's Sinatra, Randy Savage or Andre the Giant, John Lennon, and of course Dale Earnhardt.

However, if it's simply going back in time, would LOVE suited MJF BTTF, not to mention young 90's Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, Christina Applegate, or as a kid again a shot with in uniform Don Mattingly.

Wrestling- Andre The Giant. The Photo op would be amazing.
Acting- John Ritter is one of my favorites. So many to choose from.
Music- Elvis or a Beatles complete photo op.
Sports- Aaron Rodgers is my number one regardless of time but Reggie White would have to be up there.

Reading through posts, good ones with Paul Newman, John Ritter, John Candy, and John Belushi. I'd add Jackie Gleason on that list too. Maybe it's me, but Brando would be FAR down my list. Another I just thought of would be Robert Shaw, and of course the legendary George Carlin.

Music wise, still Lennon, but damn imagine having 70's party photos with The Who, Zeppelin, or the like?
