Judging by the photos AJLe posted it seemed like the "chaos" settings of old were so much more civilized and so much more chill than today's settings.

And here's an Elizabeth Taylor shot.

Not as amazing as the guy holding his own photo op, but more posed Hitler photo ops.

Let's be honest here - it looks like both of the "post old pictures" threads were just started by Class he would have a "legal" place to occassionally post his favorite Hitler pics, doesn't it?

Why does it always seem to come back to Hitler with this guy.

:smh:

I remember reading a few years back that Brando would occasionally sign and that his signature was only worth around the 1000-1500 dollar mark.
When I first started collecting, in the early 2000s, "experts" who wrote books about autographs would often cite him as one of the toughest living actors to get an autograph from. He was no doubt, not very easy to get an autograph from but as I read more about him from ones I would consider better authorities, it seems he would usually sign scraps of paper for fans. On autograph magazine live, it seems every autograph posted are on napkins, scrap paper, receipts/bills etc... I don't recall ever seeing a signed photo for a fan, though I'm sure they exist though rare. Apparently he did sign for actors on the set of the 2001 movie he did with Robert DeNiro (can't think of name off-hand).

I would assume that with a career that lasted 50 years that there would be a lot of Brando signatures out there even if he wasn't a guy that liked to sign all the time.

I imagine they're rare though as you said. I know that if I had met one of the greatest actors of all time who will go down in history as a pioneer of method acting I wouldn't be selling the autograph. It'd be proudly displayed in my home even if it was just scrawled on a napkin or something.

Good points. With Autograph Magazine now being on internet, I think they are the site where you will see all the coolest of older autographs and information on the biggest stars of yesterday. With that site, there are definitely a lot more Marlon autographs than collectors may have ever imagined and though, that's not saying much, it definitely means he was "easier" than some originally believed. His autograph remained pretty consistent, too so whatever the signing circumstance or the item the handwriting remained the same during better health years.

Here are the oldest photos ever taken: http://allday.com/post/7119-these-are-t ... ver-taken/

Which leaves me wondering, what is the first ever celebrity photo op ever taken? The oldest ones I've posted here are the Adolf Hitler photo ops, but surely older ones than that exist
