Updated the page with the national tour listings. She'll be at Macy's in NYC but I'm not sure of the details.

Bookends website now says "Note: Dress warmly, line will start outside until you can come inside"

Does anyone know how it works? Is it first come, first serve? Or do you get line preference based on when you placed the order?

First come, first serve. The line will start in the parking lot adjacent to the bookstore (I think they actually used tape to make lanes for the line when I went to the Kane signing). Once you're in, you're taken downstairs to their cramped basement, where you'll essentially wrap around the room before you get up front for the pic.

Thanks for the infp. Already regretting my purchase ;) Books and Greetings does a much better job with their number system...

This should go much faster since it's a photo op only! The surrounding area is pretty nice, too.

She started half hour late in NYC and it took about 2 hours. I'd expect similar in NJ, and will just show up after 7.

Exactly what I was thinking. I'd rather be last than first.

She came out at about 30+ & probably didn't get started until about 7:40.

Worth a shot, but I doubt it. If it's like a regular photo op, you're lucky to get 5 seconds with her. I'm wondering if I should bring an umbrella.

Fastest photographer ever. No clue if I was looking at the camera. She was very nice. Got a hug, so well worth it.

Hello there:

What size are the photos? I'm thinking about going to the TN one at Books a Million tomorrow, but it always makes me a little nervous when I can't use my own camera.

Thanks

Same here. 8x10 should print fine. Might even be able to squeeze out an 11x14
