I am salty that The Florida Project hasn't shown anywhere on Long Island that I frequent. I could watch the screener but I really want to wait for it on the big screen.

Insidious IV (Lynn Shaye) - Trash. I liked the first scene and the last. Really nothing in between.

Saw Bleed for This, good movie, but disappointed with how badly historically inaccurate it was.

Call Me By Your Name (Timothee Chalamet/Armie Hammer) - Powerful love story between a gay teen who has a professor for a father and the older college student who spends the summer with the teen's family in Italy. If you're homophobic, this isn't the movie for you, but I found the love and romance universal and relatable. Timothee's performance is every bit as good as most reviews suggest, I also really liked the music and scenery. This will without question make my top 10, which I'll be able to post once I see another movie or two.

The Commuter - I found it to be a perfectly serviceable movie, although largely unbelievable, of course. There are several set pieces that stand out but this will ultimately turn out to be a forgotten Liam Neeson film, but a fun-ish popcorn film.

Den of Thieves (Gerard Butler/Pablo Schreiber) - Trash. Way too long, way too much nonsense. Lot of bullshit scenes to get the idiotic men watching to pop vicariously, like the wife’s new bf and daughter’s date interrogation scenes. Easily one of the worst heist movies I’ve ever seen

I didn't think Den of Thieves was that bad, although those scenes you reference were pretty unnecessary. I found the heist in the beginning to be highly effective as well as the chase scenes.

BLADE RUNNER 2049 which everyone was tell me was the greatest movie ever, it was ok! lots of action and some great parts but all and all just a ok movie.
HIDDEN FIGURES- nasa space race and the black women who made history! great movie 5 stars, great acting, great story, true history. stories you would have never heard about in the sixtys! 🎞
APOLLO 18- horror movie about what happen to the crew of apollo 18 secert mission, found footage type movie. great idea for a movie, some great nasa like footage , but not the best movie over all. 3 stars great weekend rental movie

Original Angels in the Outfield. Was ok. Think remake fleshed out the story much better

I found CLOVERFIELD PARADOX to be ok, bordering on good. I just love the fact that I was able to watch it on my phone a day after finding out of its release. Cast is pretty solid, the score is great, however, there are some plot details that come out of nowhere that I still don't quite understand and made me feel like I consistently missed something. Overall, I think it's a good addition to the Cloverfield lore.

It was a little shoddy in some areas, but I enjoyed it yes. All the CF's have been cool.crowbar wrote: ↑February 6th, 2018, 8:53 amI found CLOVERFIELD PARADOX to be ok, bordering on good.
