Wow this is incredible. Criterion are releasing all the original Godzilla movies, new HD transfer, all with original Japanese mono audio tracks, everything as originally released. Also included all new English subtitles.
If this is true, I doubt you will get more than $200 after resell. Take away shipping and fees and you basically made no money.
The Godzilla statue at the Toho building is awesome. I don't know what time of day you visited, but at certain times (I guess on the hour, maybe?) they play the classic Godzilla theme, the claws and eyes light up, and "fire" comes out of the mouth, with a vintage Godzilla roar. Great attraction for tourists.
