I definitely want to do the photo op

And I'm on the fence about doing the autograph because I have an original poster of rocky 1 from 1977

I don't think there's a person on earth I would want bad enough to pay four figures for a combo, or even $500 for a photo. Just not enough interest for me personally to pay that for Stallone.

It's just insanity. I truly don't understand it.

People paid these kind of prices at nycc. Why is it so unrealistic that they would pay again? Keystone may win or lose with these prices but there will surely be sales.

I was hoping to pay 500 per autograph, but with the tiered system it’s going to cost me 650. Because of the cost I’m only going to buy one instead of two. Just kind of lousy.

It’s high but it’s stallone. I see what some of you pay for names I never even heard of at cons. I’ll take Stallone over 15-20 no name celebs or 10-20 wrestlers that weren’t even great names in their prime.

The hobby is what you make it, absolutely, and if paying $650 for an autograph and another $500 for one person makes you happy then go for it. Life is short.

You were close with Arnold!

It's very dumb. Also $2,500 for original artwork? Idiotic. You mean to tell me Sly signing a non-commissioned sketch is worth $2500?

No question. I'd take a $1150 combo from Sly over Depp, Ozzy, etc, etc. The guy is just not get-able unless you're in Beverly Hills or he's filming.

That's pretty much it. In 2013 I wasn't *there* yet, but have been for awhile. Spent $$$ on Arnold, BTTF, etc., why not Sly?

Yeah, definitely. I personally wouldn't do it for anyone but I understand the appeal if you're really into this hobby.

I really look forward to the reports. Any concerns on how long the line will be?

I go with the to each his own theory. I have a Stallone combo. I’m a Philly kid who grew up boxing. I would be in for another autograph if the price was under 4. I just can’t pay the equivalent of a weekend stay at a really nice hotel to do it. I mean, I could, but I can’t morally justify it to myself.

At this point the only person I’m paying close to 4 digits for is Clint Eastwood.

With that said, I’m a total Disney whore. If you promised me a meet with the Toy Story cast, I’d remortgage the house lol.

Be advised that at the moment, we are not certain what type of signature Stallone will be giving. In 2013 and in private, he writes a full Sylvester Stallone, every letter. There has been a lot of unsubstantiated chatter that this time he will sign it Sly Stallone, and even the last name is not full. Obviously, most people will not wish to have that kind of crap for $650.
