To me, that Kirk Douglas photo was epic. He's 103 years old and one of, if not the only, last of the classic era actors. Another thing, from my autograph collecting experience is that he is one of the few who authentically signs his own autograph via mail. Having collected through mail autographs for almost 20 years I found most A list actors used secretaries to sign for them. Not Kirk, although he would usually only sign if a fan sent one of his books which is understandable due to his age and health.

I still can't believe it happened. I don't think I'll ever top it.
