Re: Pick Top 2 - Preliminary Meeter of Year Poll

I will breakdown the lists as I see them.

Myself and Joresky are filler, jobbers for the other 3. We in no way had comparable years.

Orton had the best year anyone has ever had. I would vote for him twice in this round if possible.

Class had a better year than this list indicates, as usual I never agree with how he assembles lists.

Greg had an amazing year, but I feel Class beat him overall, though I judged this based off lists and I think Greg's list has more starpower.

Orton and Greg are my two. Well done to all nominees and users in general. 2017 was a helluva year on Marked Out.

My lone comment is how interesting that Selena Gomez made no one's list! LOL. Frankly had she done it for us on the set, probably wouldn't make mine either. #Overrated

I like her from a couple of acting roles. Not more than that.

Selena wasn't even on my mind, as I decided not to include any music names. In all honesty, I had a difficult time narrowing it to 30 as the list that just missed the cut was about as long as the list that did make it. Unfortunately, I couldn't include names like Billy Crystal, Christopher Plummer, Burt Reynolds, Goldie Hawn, Jude Law, Michael J. Fox, Michael Caine...among others.

We are blown away by the turn out on this poll, so this IS the final round. Voting will remain open, but there is no sense asking you guys to repeat the process.

Well if you got the big ones we did, then you made a lousy list, as the voting shows.

Class made an awful list, choosing to omit paid names in lieu of street names like Denis Leary. I always viewed Orton and Class as the top two all year long, but once I saw the lists I knew Greg beat Class on presentation.

Honestly just glad I didn’t have to make a list this year.

Went with Orton & Greg like most. Orton has edge just bc of some rare great names I’d love to get

Many of them would not have even been valid for my list, as I didn't get them in 2017
So what is the POINT of comparing then?
Just a yearly tradition of mine

Eh, actually I don't think it is fair to change the rules at the last minute. It does make sense to ask people to vote again to find out who is the true meeter of the year. Right now the votes are spread closely together because each person was asked to vote for two people.
Greg and I are the two with the most votes so it should be me and him for the final round.

I’m fine with that.
