Re: Sci-Fi Valley Con- June 12-14, 2020- Altoona, PA

They posted on Facebook that they “probably” will be postponed. But no new dates yet. This was supposed to be the weekend Steel City Con rescheduled to so doesn’t look good for Steel City or any con in June.

Quick trip to Wizard World Cleveland

Last Sunday I went to Cleveland for Wizard World. There was supposed to be a couple CW Arrow-verse actors I hadn't met. Unfortunately, Jesse Rath, "Brainiac" from Supergirl canceled at the day before the con. But having nothing else going on that weekend, I decided the 2 hour drive was worth it to g...

Re: Cromwell, Huey Lewis, a Mafia restaurant ride, and Altered Carbon

Its always great meeting a personal fave. Its too bad about Huey's hearing. I think some of the blame is on that McFly kid. He played just too darn loud.

Re: Cyclops rode Downhill on a Big Cripple Creek

Jealous of the Robbie Robertson meet. I love the Band. I've been up to Levon's barn for 3 Midnight Rambles (2 of them before he passed). Absolutely amazing experiences. Unfortunately they were very strict about bringing cameras inside and approaching the talent for autographs.

Getting some Trek names at Farpoint in Hunt Valley

I was considering going to Farpoint in Hunt Valley for a few months to get 3 Star Trek names but was reluctant to commit because it was in February. This week the weather was all clear so I decided to drive down from Pittsburgh. I got there a few minutes before registration opened, paid my one day a...

Don Felder meet & greet

Last night former Eagle guitarist Don Felder (the composer of "Hotel California") played at Jergel's, a club that's about a 5 minute drive from my house. I thought the price for a meet and greet was pretty reasonable compared to many meet and greets so I decided to go for it. I got there, had some d...

Added Lisa Wilcox (Nightmare on Elm Street 4) and Amanda Wyss (Nightmare on Elm Street).
28 celebs so far. It will be interesting to see where they put everybody given the space they have used for celebrities has always been small compared to other cons.

If I wind up tagging along with a friend of mine, I wouldn't mind an updated shot with Kevin.
They just announced Kevin McDonald and that's the name that's getting me there. Love Kids in the Hall.
