Re: Feinstein COULD BE Selling Fakes Again?

Yeah his "fans" or "loyal customers" are pretty cringeworthy. I'm not sure what it is that they like about him or why they are so loyal towards him but with the Piper situation, the Davey Boy situation plus his history with perverted justice and the other dodgy stuff he has done within wrestling it ...

Re: Feinstein COULD BE Selling Fakes Again?

Feinstein showed screen caps of Harry Smith confirming they are real and then saying they're not when Georgia Smith said they're fake. The fake Davey Boy Smith autograph was also confirmed as real with a COA which shows just how valuable those services are (Not very) I think confirming with family m...

Re: Feinstein COULD BE Selling Fakes Again?

He has now got Bruiser Brody, Eddie Guerrero and Lou Thesz. Getting kind of gross at this point and I still have no idea how people believe he actually has all these rare autographs.

Re: Feinstein COULD BE Selling Fakes Again?

Well he's got COA's on the Savage's. Also, is there even a market for Owen Hart or Benoit? COA's can be incorrect as well though, all it is a third party opinion from an "expert". Not sure if there is a market for Benoit but more good timing from Rob because Vice has just released Dark Side Of The ...

Re: Most mundane celebrity encounters

Living in Australia it's mainly athletes to be honest. I was on the train coming back from work and recognised a relatively well known rugby player sitting opposite me sleeping. I was at work going to the post office and bumped into a current rugby star who was injured at the time and posting his ma...

Feinstein COULD BE Selling Fakes Again?

Have noticed our old mate Rob Feinstein selling a number of deceased wrestlers autographs over the past few weeks that he's somehow had for years. Included are 7 Randy Savage autographs (That he sold for 150 dollars a piece), the infamous Rowdy Roddy Piper prints that elicited a huge discussion here...

Randy Savage

Was going to reply to I believe Jason in the pre social media thread but didn't want to derail the thread. Jason and Woodmo were discussing Randy Savage dressing up at public appearances for the WWF and how he seemed to enjoy meeting the fans, taking pictures and signing autographs. The question cam...

Re: Unique Items in your Collection

Recently acquired an item which might be one of a kind at this point. I have an NWA World Heavyweight Title T-Shirt signed by the following wrestlers: - Dory Funk Jr. - Dusty Rhodes - Harley Race - Ric Flair - Ronnie Garvin - Terry Funk - Tommy Rich --- Some of you may have seen the very shirt displ...

Re: Anyone check out Cameo

For someone such as Criss Angel wouldn't they be better off doing these for like 100-200 dollars a pop and getting 60-70 orders a month as opposed to 1k which might be doable for 1 person a month if that? I understand Angel has a shit ton of money and is (was?) probably pulling high 5 figures/low si...

Is The Average Fan Being Priced Out?

I became an autograph collector back in 2001 where I'd meet athletes after games and they'd always sign for free whether you were an adult, child etc. Athletes still do this in 2020 which is great and the teams even arrange free fan days at stadiums/venues for fans to meet their favourite players. I...

Re: Creepy autograph request story

Wouldn't it be much easier to just get the kid when he's made it? I'm sure athletes sign for free in the States anyway don't they?

Re: Are you losing interest in the hobby?

Another thing I do to alleviate cost is getting a job. Has helped immensely Even with a job it's difficult. I commented to my partner that for a young person that works casually a trip to the convention would result in them most likely having to borrow money if they were particularly huge on pop cu...

Re: Are you losing interest in the hobby?

Yes and no. I started out as an 8 year old meeting mainly athletes and moved onto celebrities and wrestlers when that became a bigger part of my life. I'm 28 now so on and off collector for 20 years. I was at a signing as recently as 8 days ago but it isn't a big part of my life any more. The reason...

Re: Dean Ambrose dislike.

I went to a wrestling meet and greet for the first time in years recently to meet Eric Bischoff and most of the fans at the show (And signing) were really the annoying types of wrestling fans. Trying to make smarky jokes with Eric, get themselves over, references to stuff that Eric had nothing to do...
