Tommy from Big Event is rescheduling their guests for October. He said they're older and scared. I think he had Tanya Roberts, don't remember the others.

Re: The Recently Watched Movie Thread

Saw X-Men Dark Phoenix, thought it was just fine, made even better knowing the comic book fanboys hated it!

March is Madness: Get a Shorty Diamond for Strangers

There was an event for A Quiet Pace Part II, which I went to check out. The way in wound up being a full waste, as the major stars were either inside all day or snuck in. I was shocked to see Sam Lerner though from The Goldbergs, but couldn’t remember his name so I shouted at him “SCHWARTZ SCHWARTZ”...

Re: Will Coronavirus Take its Toll on Cons?

Well Mnuchin, the Treasury Secretary, said the lockdowns are likely to be 10-12 weeks long, maybe longer. That basically eliminates all the May (if any remain) and June conventions.

March is Madness: Live with Kelly & Ryan at The Big Event

I went for Grace Byers from The Gifted, and she was very nice. She was the primary villain in season 2 and was quite good. A bit later, there wasn’t much going on so I went for the hosts of Live with Kelly and Ryan, Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest . They were pretty easy. Grace https://live.staticflick...

Re: Chiller Theatre Con- June 5-7, 2020- Parsippany, NJ

By the way, you're all on your own with the guest list, I will not be updating it here. I was kicked out of the "Chiller Theatre Fans" facebook group for the 2nd time, because the moderator was fed up with people reporting me as "negative." Well those negative posts were me rightly stating that the...

Re: March is Madness: Face/Off with Mutant Psychic Country Vamps!

Cage has a type of role he's often in, and while he's made plenty of CGI-infused trash, he still has it. He made a lot of garbage for several years, sort of ending with Kick-Ass, while The Frozen Ground, Mandy or Joe were fantastic though dark. That's been followed by 5 years of nonstop made for VOD...

Re: Will Coronavirus Take its Toll on Cons?

At this point you have to think any con scheduled for August or sooner is most likely not going to happen. Well I want to see the testing numbers, if we ever get those up in some fashion. Maybe in a week to 10 days, we can see some data that would finally give an indication on the length of this.

Sounds like they're planning to be in LA next year. While the hotel company initially decline their request for refunds, they feel like the national/corporate office will respond differently.

https://thehill.com/policy/healthcare/487863-trump-urges-americans-to-avoid-gatherings-of-more-than-10-people Trump now is told gatherings of 10 people is too many!
