Re: First in person wrestling autograph of 2021

No I didn't mean along with every other fan, I meant I already met every wrestler for the most part. I am just now getting extra autographs when I meet whoever I meet again. As for Sarge's autograph, he was telling everyone at the signing that if you don't get an auto of his with a smiley face it's...

Re: First in person wrestling autograph of 2021

Thanks all. Keep in mind I first met Sarge probably 15 years ago, along with pretty much everyone else. Everyone else except me. LOL. There are some things not meant to be and meeting him is one of them. I guess in hindsight I could have made a bit more effort to do so. But back to speaking highly ...

Re: THE BIG SHOW TO AEW

That's pretty big news to me. I figured he would be a WWE lifer. I'm sure he made tons with WWE but some of his storylines were pretty demeaning and embarassing. I am sure AEW gives him more serious storylines and I'm guessing he may have been close with Dusty so probably is happy to work with his s...

Where were you for RetroCon that time he did it?

No just the Bowie Baysox signing 2007, Signamania 2008 and Big Event Nov 2017 I missed.

I see this is a K&S signing-both guys are top notch, very honest and customer oriented while taking care of the wrestlers.

Re: First in person wrestling autograph of 2021

Very cool. I missed out on meeting Sgt. Slaughter THREE times. First was when he did a minor league ball signing and I had to work-my grandfather went to get me autographs. Second was he did a signing with George's Cards on a superticket in 2008. There was a huge delay so Sgt. was rushing to catch h...

Re: Bushwhackers USA Tour - Spring 2021

Me! just sent my book in to get signed, by butch haha, even those i kinda knew it wasnt happening I know it's a LONG shot but maybe try to reach out to Luke personally to see if he can get Butch to sign the book. At least he is someone who has regular contact with his friend and not someone hoping ...

I feel bad for anyone who got their hopes up on seeing both Bushwhackers.

Re: RUSH LIMBAUGH DEAD AT 70

I've never seen a photo with him but that doesn't mean they don't exist. I would imagine he was very guarded over the last 10-20 years. He would sign his books ttm and his autograph price was very low on ebay just a few years ago. I saw a signed book at Value Village last year and passed feeling the...

Re: CHRISTOPHER PLUMMER DEAD AT 91

I haven't seen too many of his movies but I know he's a legend. I think it's amazing he was in his late 80s when he did the All the Money in the World movie.

Re: BUTCH REED PASSES AWAY AT 66

I am pretty broken up about this one. Butch and Nikolai Volkoff traveled with each other for Bill Watt's promotion in the early 80s and Nikolai really enjoyed working with Butch. I got to hear some stories so when I got the chance to meet Butch in 2017 I was pretty excited. I spent like two minutes ...

Re: CAPTAINS CORNER UPCOMING SIGNING 2021

I watched bits and pieces of the Ted Arcici signing. It was cool getting to see Ted after 30+ years of not being in wrestling (I did see him in the Equalizer 2 movie though). He showed a lot of personality which is a shame because it sure didn't translate into wrestling in the 1980s. I think these v...

Re: Feinstein COULD BE Selling Fakes Again?

There used to be a great site called "hauls of shame" with the 100 worst mistakes of JSA and PSA. I can never find it anymore so not sure if they removed it or I'm not finding it but it was a great site. Two mistakes that really stick out are one of the companies certifying a vintage wrestling magaz...

Re: LeeLooMultiprops - Private Signing/Send In Thread

Is this company relatively new? If they aren't, they seem like it. And if they are new they need to start as small as possible. Don't go for a guy like Michael Keaton so soon into your time as signing promoters. A three person team, as seen on their website is just not enough to handle a huge signin...

Re: A look at the hobby in the 90s

Great photos those little whippersnappers got! BTW I would LOVE to find some old pics of any Hulk Hogan impersonators! My cousin had one at his birthday party 30+ years ago. I lost the "signed postcard" he gave out. Was the impersonator good, was he popular with the kids or did he fall flat like th...
